The Invicta 4,5 ltr. was in 1928, when it was introduced, the best accelerating serial-production car worldwide. It needed only 15 sec to 100 km/h! Mentionable is also that in the same time it was possible to accelerate from 15 to 100 km/h, without changing gears! In 1928 an unbelievable speed! This records were reasoned by its light weight body in combination with the powerful 4.5 ltr Meadows engine. So from day one this model was a very competitive race car!
Chassis LC 244 was used in numerous races as a Team Car with C.W. Fiennes as driver from Invicta, for example 12th Brooklands. For this purpose the vehicle was equipped with an alloy race body. In the Mid 30s at the end of the active time the car has been equipped with a daily usable Tourer chassis. For many years the car was in the ownership of the Fiennes Family until it was restored in the Mid 80s and finally sold in 1996 to Germany. Due to its very interesting history the vehicle is a ticket to many top class events and provides a lot of driving pleasure.
